find me at blogspothttp://elisataufik.blogspot.comTransferring....If you're wondering why I've been so quiet these past few days, it's because I've been a little bit busy.No, not with playing sudoku or trying to beat CK's pathwords score or playing scrabble with my siblings (and sibling in law *wink*). Come to think of it, "The Book of Face" as someone on manon's blog calls it, has been taking over my life a bit, and if i could remember who invited me to it, I would probably curse him or her. But actually it's kinda fun coz as i said, how else could I play scrabble with my family? I would invite my dad in too, but a parent's curse are potent, so I don't think I want to take that risk. urm.. where was I? oh yeah. I have been busy transferring my old posts from efx2blogs to blogspot. okay whine*slash*explanation coming up. I dunno. I love the people in efx2, but you know things are getting a bit weird in efx2 with keith being so quiet and spambots filling up my comment alerts and some of my favourite people moving away and stuff. So yeah, I'm thinking of moving. and I figured, even if I decide not to move, I'd have a backup and wont lose all my posts like i did when modblog went down *shudders*. All those memories.. down the drain *wipes a tear*. So anyways. That's what I've been doing. Mommy Blog!A few friends and I have started a mommy blog :)It's basically a blog where we can ask for and share parenting tips. It's only in its infancy, but I expect it to contain more posts in the near future :) Do give Bonda Blabber (http://blondablab.blogspot.com) a visit, and leave your comments, questions, advice, stories ! I'm not sure about whether "many people wonder what (my) secret to life is" or whether I "have the whole world under (my) spell, and (I) can influence almost everyone (I) know" or whether I "dont resist (my) urges to crush the weak" (? what the eff??? I dont think I ever did that. Have I?) or even the "suave, sexy, smart, and strong" bit. But I know these to be true: - I can get a little flaky and irresponsible. (especially when I'm in a hurry or distracted) - I am easily excitable .. tee hee (just read any of my posts) - I dont stick to one thing for very long, but when I do get excited over something, it's almost to the point of obsession. (read : korean dramas). The few things that I have been consistently obsessed about are Pearl Jam, my husband and my kids, and my family (itu pun kekadang intermittent.. heh heh)(not necessarily in that order k) - my biggest problem *is* trying to finish projects that I start. (Case in point - it took me 5 years to complete my Master's thesis, It took me a year to finish one of my sewing projects, and now I am starting to get bored with a current cross-stitching project.. *sigh*) So yeah. Chica Coz I have never tagged them before. Note: Chocolate cake - Follow recipe for spongy cake but add 6 tablespoons of cocoa powder to flour. Bake in a flat rectangular sheet, cut in half. Cream filling/topping - 2 cups liquid whipping cream, whipped till soft peaks. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, 6 tablespoons icing sugar, 3 tablespoons cocoa powder, mix well with spoon, then whip cream till stiff peaks form. Use half for filling, half for topping. Decoration - H3rshey's Milk Chocolate Chips (the yellow packet), arrange to your liking. P/S and a bonus : one other thing that's going to make me happy today - American Idol is starting!!!
